BALTIMORE, MD – Amazon has opened a new distribution center on Broening Highway in Baltimore, creating over 3,000 new jobs and providing a significant economic boost to the region. The facility, which is located on the former site of a General Motors plant, opened in 2015 and is part of Amazon's network of distribution centers across the country.
